Are you sure there wasn't any kind of protective coating on the new discs that may have contaminated the pads?

I don't see the discs making as much difference to the braking performance as you seem ...

Had an "interesting" session on the Turbo last night.

Didn't check the tyre pressure before the session but gave it a quick squeeze and seemed ok. Start session and my P2M is reading @140 ...

99.9kg - after a few stutters finally cracked the 100kg mark and I'm at least working with the same number of digits as you lot now.

It always surprises me how much faster a TT bike is than road bike. I did a 31km flatish ride, and despite pretty low power numbers, speed was around 2-3kph quicker than my road bike
