For a 20 - 25 dark commute I use a Lezyne front and rear. I think the front is the something-300 and the rear is a Y-9 or a 'strip light'.

I think people get put off by Bosworth water park as:

a) its not that nice to train in, but for a race, there are plenty of worse lakes
b) they charge for parking, but then the Vitruvian is a rip ...
