Seems there is now a cluster of guys who can run close to/around 2:40 off a front pack bike so a run of around 2:48-2:50 doesn't cut it any more.

Maybe turn up at the local Park Run and Kids Park Run to promote - should get a pretty high take-up from them, but make sure your event is not going to clash with their existing slots.

...eBay is last resort due to 10% commission.

Watch out for GBP1 maximum fee offers or similar which come round all the time and then list.

Some high-end tools will last you a long time and you will never regret getting them.

A 2nd-hand drum kit or electronic drum kit is a good if you have some space.
