If gas pipe is boxed in have you checked if it needs ventilation?
All depends on size of the void.
If unsure take a few measurements (cross section and length) and seek advice from a Gas Safe engine ...

Carefully check lacing pattern.

If this is correct double check spoke lengths

I know you said lengths are correct but
1 or 2mm out can make a big difference.

I know you said it may be dry air not cold air related but have you tried deep heat rubbed into the chest before running?
Partner now does this for cold runs & cold ow swims and uses asthma inha ...

McD's wasn't a concern for me but clothing was...race referee Confirmed clothing items OK if passed from the personal needs zone. For Tenby this is one aid station per lap...have a good race everyone ...

I'm in similar position as far as swim goes, so trying to avoid lakes in favour of sea swims now.
This is my first IM distance...was in dark place with running about 6 weeks ago...backed off mileage ...
