cheers for responses everyone, maybe a career in journalism calls....

here's some pics as promised.

for some reason I can't get any others to download

This weekend is the first big test. New Forest Tri. As with all races this year I am not expecting too much. It's an awesome course, and while I'd like to do really well I am going to enjoy it. It means I am not going to be able to defend my lyminngton 10k crown, but there you go. Might leg it back and pace sister to a victory....

What a scortcher...luckily there is a gentle breeze though so it wasn't too hot for my ride. 28 miles down today before work.

For some reason I can't download the photos, but I didn't try very hard, so I'll have another go tomorrow.

After work yesterday I met Kath and Oscar down the beach. We had a walk, and a salad (oscar had milk) and then a nice evening. He now is in bed at about 8, so we get a bit of downtime (after sterilizing bottles, cleaning up and doing the washing) together.

He then woke up at 7 and fed had a play, watched lazy town while daddy had his breakfast and then had a morning nap. Just like daddy!

Cheers for replies. For some unknown reason we are tied into a sole agency contract for 14 weeks.....then have to give 21 days notice... Evil or Very Mad

I say camping, we spent the weekend in a static caravan at Durdle door. Was gorgeous, Durdle Door that is, not the caravan. Although the caravan was very nice too! We went for a walk on the beach and cliff tops friday afternoon, then spent saturday at wareham and corfe castle and sunday we went down to lulworth cove. I love it down there. And because it isn't school holidays it was very peaceful.

Oscar loved it too. He slept soo much, but when he was awake he was being really nosey! I guess he didn't know where to look!

I managed to get a run in on friday night. 3.3 miles in 27 minutes.....it is fairly hilly down there! and now my quads are on fire.....still. Shocked

Last night I rode the Bournemouth tri bike course for a report I've been asked to write for tri247. Stormed round in 1:01:36....ok I didn't have to run or swim but that's a good bench mark for april!

We are desperately trying to sell our flat. We have been screwed over by the estate agents who have been sitting on their arses for over a month and we've had 2 veiwings. But unfortunately they neglected to tell us that we are tied in with them for 14 weeks..... Evil or Very Mad How can people be so dishonest? We have seen our ideal house, but can't do anything. So until we sell ours we have stopped looking. But it looks like a move before Kath is back at work is out of sight.

I'll stick some pictures up from the weekend when I get home.

I know I have let my blogging duites slip, but it seems to be rather busy here at the moment!

Not much has happened since sunday. ran on monday, cycled on tuesday....legs waxed wednesday run today. Boring really.

Oscar is well. full of shouts and giggles. luckily he love the tweenies so sits and watched them for 20 minutes in the morning while we do stuff round the house. he's not so keen on postman pat though.....

i'm sitting waiting for my train at richmond, heading into london to watch two sisters battle it out on the marathon. just glad that this time it's not me racing.....well deep down i'd love to be at the line up! can't believe it was four years ago that my atjletic career started with a 3:22 marathon!
it should be cloSe between them, if all goes according to plan then they should both be on for sub 3:45, so fingers crossed for them!
racing for me is going well on my 5 hours a week. a win at dorney in front of the team did my esteem no harm at all. but again I enjoyed the race. maybe this is the way forward!
I had a week away from oscar as kath took him to meet the rellies oop narth. missed them heaps! he changed so much in five days, and came back with his volume control stuck on loud!
train is now here so best go.....
