Being slow

Being green by being slow on motorway to pick up a friend made me realise (around 50mph all the way) that you save a lot of petrol by reducing your speed. The needle of the tank icon hardly moved, great. She's afraid of going fast. Everybody overtook us even the lorries. Did wonders on my petrol consumption though. Cool Normally I'm ahemm ... 70mph Surprised

I'm restarting running tonight after a long stretch without it, I hope it won't hurt too much tomorrow when I go back to the pool.

My new bike will arrive soon. An Dolce triple base model for commuting. Nice. It should increase my cycling mileage. Everything is good to cycle even more. With petrol so expensive, it's a good move. Cool

Had a stomach and intestinal upset that I cured with clay therapy. A little bit unusual but stopped me being in agony after 5 days. Within 2 hours of starting the clay therapy (1 teaspoonful of clay in a glass of water, clay of pharmaceutical grade free of any impurity) all the intestinal troubles stopped. Good old remedies! 200 tribes currently use it on the planet! Can't go wrong I guess. Smile

I'm glad now that I can write my blog! Now, I need to visit again the forum. See you!

Happy comments! Happpy training (it's milder yeepee!)

Sue: thanks! Glad to be here. Smile
Dirty Davey: Thanks! I love cycling and running (not good yet) Sad
Wheezy: thank you. Smile

I've been swimming to loose weight, and I'm going to buy a new bike at the begining of December. I'm looking forward to my new purchase to start cycling again. In the meantime, I'm running a bit, and keep on swimming. Smile Today I had a rest, and the next few days I'm too busy with work to train, but will catch up this weekend. Smile
