well after a fairly good event on sunday, my week has ground to a halt.

gave myself 2 rest day's, just enough time to let this cold take hold. so now feel like crap and my chest is feeling tight so i think i have a bit of an infection coming on. so i am resigning my self ( just like the Home secretery) to the fact i could be with out a session this side of Xmass day, but i am hoping to get one in sooner.

so i went and i did it, good race in all, and harder than i thought it would be, far maore up's than downs.

pacing was shot to hell very up and down as you can see

mile splits
1. 8:40
2. 8:25
3. 9:49
4. 10:16
5. 10:50
6. 9:22
7. 9:29
8. 9:06
9. 7:55
10. 8:59
11. 10:36
12. 9:05
13. 9:19
.25. 2:45

also as you can see it was longer by .15, bam them Very Happy Very Happy

glad i went and did it as i now know i still have a good base to work on, as although i was struggling to the end i was not out of breath (same as John) but my legs were shot and i just couldn't push myself any faster by the last hill. and i think this might just be done again next year Cool

not sure whats going on at the moment, but everything just seems to be standing still.

i have this feeling i need to grab somthing and give it my all, but as soon as i make my mind up on what it is (work, training, exams) i just lose intreast and end up back were i started. not sure if this is the culmination of a bad week or somthing that has been building for a while.

either way i have a baby, and ironman and and an exam to prepear for and if i don't get my lazy arse into gear all 3 will be here and i will be totaly unprepeard for all of them.

but i just feel like saying ~#*$ it today and going back to bed for 6 months Very Happy

oh well thats life, somthing even a note from your mum can't get you out of Wink

Quotes of the Day (About dog's for sabre)

Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole.
--Roger Caras

The greatest pleasure of a dog is that you may make a fool of yourself with him, and not only will he not scold you, but he will make a fool of himself, too.
--Samuel Butler

Ever consider what dogs must think of us? I mean, here we come back from a grocery store with the most amazing haul -- chicken, pork, half a cow. They must think we're the greatest hunters on earth!
--Anne Tyler

Never trust a dog to watch your food.
