Possibly a long shot, but here goes. I've picked up a set of 105 shifters for a new winter bike I'm building up and they've come without the aforementioned clamps. It was an ebay purchase and I'm unlikely to be able to get them from the seller, so I've been trying to find some to buy.

Now, unless I'm being really thick (which is entirely possible), I can't seem to find any for sale online. Does anyone know where I can get these from, or does anyone have any lying around that they want to sell to me?

This is what I'm after, but still can't find any in the UK.

Would be glad to give them a try. I'd imagine that any relatively recent shimano shifter would have a standard size, but there's only one way to find out.

Drop me a PM if you find the pair and I'll let you have a postal address. If you want to include some details I'll transfer over money for the clamps and postage. Cheers.

Quick edit: do they have the bolts with them?

Shimano call it a clamp band unit. You can get the part number from the 105 tech docs for your model:

http://techdocs.shimano.com/techdocs/blevel.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302051113&bmUID=iS1967O

http://www.petracycles.co.uk/ seem to carry a lot of shimano spare parts and I've found them helpful in the past.

Good luck.

Big thanks to Ed, who came and dropped his spare shifter clamps at my work this lunchtime. Let's hope they fit now!
