--carry on like this
--and in theory they say you go
(works with me, if people dont tell on me when they meet teh man in question )

Provisional yes. Really would like to. Lots of stuff going on this end but if all works out I am in IMF2005.

I obviously haven't made my opinion clear on this!
First choice is IM France, most likely to be 25th June 2005.
Second choice IMUK at Sherborne as long as it goes full distance which they say it will, that should be 21 August 2005. That's just choosing the closest Saturday to this years date for next year (jeez, that sounds more complicated than it is!).
The only reason I'll resort to second option is if I don't get into IM France or disaster strikes and I miss it for some reason, neither of which are planned so won't happen. That's assuming I can get into IMUK at a late stage which might not be possible.
I'm just back from swimming and I was chatting to a fellow triathlete who's entered Sherborne. He filled in his online form a week before me and is in the race so I'm more hopeful that I'll get in, fingers crossed. That'll be a big boost to my IMF campaign if I get into IMUK this year.

You guys are amazing
I haven't even done my first tri and you have me thinking about bringing forward my plans and doing an IM next year.
My original plan was
2004:
- sprint + oly tris
- get back into regular swimming
- WDMBC Chilterns 100km mtb ride
- some >100km road rides
- build up run mileage back to an LSD of ~30km
2005:
- half IM
- BHF South Downs Way mtb randonee (100miles off road)
- some >100mile road rides
- run a marathon
2006:
- 40th birthday
- full IM
