I don't think Markie r needs any back up, but the forum does, and I think this is stepping over the line a bit too much.

If your beef can't be resolved over a few posts or the odd pm then either pop round and have a chat with him or give it up before you start putting people off participating

Tritalk does seem to have lost its way over the last 6months. You pop in to see what's what and it just seems to be abuse hurled around. Maybe it is the changing of the old guard or I am getting too old but the whole forum seems more and more irrelevant. This is not a flounce just a regret that it isn't the place if info and comic banter that it used to be.

One can only imagine. It's an Internet forum. People have different opinions from you - get over it and move on - if you can't find another forum. There is a good mix here and TBH if Markier is as bad as you have to put up with as a 'troll' we're doing well.

Totally agree with Jim. It seems that there is a minority who just bait and taunt people until they get a reaction, which like this thread is an overreaction. What is worse is that anyone new to the forum can get slammed for asking a genuine question, so what if it has been answered before. There needs to be more tolerance generally even if that means naming it when someone is being intolerant. I find it a bit strange that one poster can call someone on the veracity of a post, then hammer away at it to embarrass him, then check the chaps Facebook page ...all for what?
