Can't wait. It looks like perfect conditions. Should be an improvement on last year! For me it was 28 minutes for the upstream swimming and 9 for the downstream - hoping for about 17 and 14 this time.

Great race today. Perfect conditions. I knocked 18 minites off last years 3:12 and completed the swim in sub 28. A very good day's work.

Hope all had a good day.

got quite a battering on swim with water being let into my goggle, the pull out of the water was great and much appreciated.
hammered it on bike, may be a bit too much has struggled to lift the pace on the run.
got a pb by 3 mins to get sub 2.30 so pleased.

Great time g. The first half of the swim was pretty rough wasn't it?! Loads of swimmers drifting left then realising it was too shallow so veering right -cutting accross those behind - followed logically by plenty of biff!

Great place but I still don't think I've cooled down. Don't know what the splits are but 2.23 overall. First Olympic I've done. Run was really tough, so hot!!! And those steps at the end nearly finished me off!!

Yep great day for it yesterday, that's the warmest I've ever known the swim. Normally my feet don't thaw out until the run.

Nice race. Water was lovely, river was a bit shallow at one point I almost grounded! No idea on time. My wife and kids enjoyed walking along the river watching.

Ride was good, very hard up the hill into the wind (that road seemed to go on forever to the turnaround). Did about 1h10, which was ok. I got to the turn in about 25th or so I think. First 10 were very well spaced but one group of 7 or 8 ahead of me there.

Run was a struggle from the start, but probably nto to unfare a reflection on my run fitness to jog round for a 2h22.

I would definitely recommend it as a race. Was also good for the family to play around on the grass and cheers people into the finish, the kids loved it!

Love this event (will be my 4th year). Entered as a warmup for IMUK.

Yes, tempted to do this myself again this year, did it about the first two times they ran it but never really fitted in with other plans since.

Think I got fairly lucky the two times I did it with the weather.
