New bike is coming with Zipp 404NSW/808NSW. (have to take bike & wheels combo)

However I already have on my old bike 8.9Enve with CK hubs.

Options :-
1) Sell Enve 8.9's keep 404/808 combo
2) Put Enve 8.9's on new bike sell Zipps
3) Sell 404NSW front and get 808NSW front and sell Enves

Just can't decide what's best course of action? As can't find and comparison between 8.9's & ZIpp 808NSW (only new Enve 7.8's)

Thanks for any advice.

Whatever you do, do it quickly, as people in the market for top-end wheels like that could be switching to disc brakes in the near future. I have been a Zipp fanboy since mid 90s, but in this case I'd probably keep the 8.9s and sell the Zipps. Would prefer the DT Swiss hubs though (on any wheel).

Ultimately, an unused set of Zipps is going to get a better price than a used wheel. Don't worry about aero numbers, as there are so many other factors that will make a bigger difference than the wattage between these two wheel sets.

Yup I agree with Jorgan, sell on the NSW set. The Enve's are a very fast rim set anyway

I would agree.

First, the enve 8.9s are a superb and fast set of wheels. Even if they are older, you can still run 11 speed cassettes on them if you need to (via a couple of simple tricks/options).

Second, the zipp wheelset will be brand new, and you will get far more selling a new set of excellent race wheels than selling a used set of excellent race wheels.

This test seems to think that the ENVE 7.8s are faster than the 808NSW's, so your 8.9s in theory should be even faster!

I can't view youtoob here, who conducted the tests? There is so much 'proprietary' data going on, that it cannot be trusted. The P5X is an exemplar there.

It's an independent test done by BikeRadar, 10 different wheelsets of similar depth were put to test.

Both wind tunnel (two different Yaw angles at 5 and 15 degrees IIRC) and real world testing
