For those that have participated in years past I have a question. On race morning, what is the parking situation at Shugborough hall? (i'm aware/already have the parking pass and know/aware of the shuttle between T2 and swim start).

Do I need to wake up and plan on being parked by 4am just to avoid a huge traffic que to get into Shugborough only to then sleep in my car before getting on a shuttle?

My wave goes at 7:15 and I've got very little to do in transition before race start so really just need to get over to Chasewater by say 6:15 (which will still leave me with too much time). Or is the shuttle situation such that I should just man up, get on an early shuttle and relax at the swim start?

Just trying to avoid waking up ludicrously early....

I got up at five and we drove to the parking space nearby to shugborough where a bus shuttles you all over to T1. Its in the athlete guide.

It was not busy and very easy.

IIRC both years so far there have been issues with some of the bus drivers getting a little lost on the way to Chasewater so its worth trying to get an earlier one if you possibly can.

My bus last year went up and down the same bit of dual-carriageway 3 or 4 times.
