I heard that they struggled to get enough from the supplier in 2015 apparently only to then find that the supplier was flogging them on eBay. Thats when they called it a day on those.

Shame as I use my rucksack from 2015 everyday and its been ace all though its starting to die

Yes, I would normally, but I have a new Garmin HR-RUN I bought about 2 months ago....so hopefully okay.

Sorry you missed-out on Roth Dave. Hey, the run at Outlaw looks like the old 'classic' Roth anyway i.e. along a river/canal; crowds on the bike might be a bit different though Wink

Yeah gutted about Roth but did it in 2011 where I got slowly baked running along that canal! Was listening to the IM Talk podcast over the weekend and they were saying that run course has changed at Roth - bit more hillier now!

In fairness, the Outlaw is very well supported through the villages and around the lake. Just hope the wind is blowing the right way on the bike!

If you follow OSB on twitter they've advised re-surfacing is being done on some of the South loop this week - which was much needed.

Hopefully save a few "incidents".

Temperatures looking friendly so far for Sunday; the wind however looks like it could be a stiff westerly/SW breeze.

It'll certainly make the last 20miles on the bike tough!

It was like that at the half in May. Weather looks ideal at the moment

Trying to do not too much, but be active. You can look at my Strava now, I assume that was your follower request initials SM? (I only twigged today after linking it up with the start list).

WFH today, so stripping & re-waxing chain, cleaning/lubing all the moving parts, checking all the bolts, fitting race wheels and tweaking shifting on the disc.

Shoulders in more discomfort than it's been in about 4 years.

Some niggle/strain in quad.

Normal taper - right?

Last spin on TT tonight, easy run out tomorrow, transition practice on Thurs (not raced in 2 years so figured it'd probably help!). Then I'll start eating the fridge.

Yeah, that was me. Looks like you have had a good build up
Same here, trying to keep it light and easy, but its always tricky. I was lazy and got my biked checked over at the LBS

Yeah, usual taper, all the niggles seem to appear but then disappear come race day

Very gentle spin on the turbo tonight with a last ow swim tomorrow. Will give my bike and kit a final check over this evening too. As it seems likely to be a bit cooler on Sunday I will go with my tt helmet rather than my road one. I was getting paranoid about overheating.

If it ain't broke, then leave it the fook alone Rolling Eyes My chain has been sluggish going onto the big ring for ages, so I thought I'd try & sort it. Upshot is the cable is fraying and I can't get it on the big ring at all now. Given what a complete PITA a cable change is on a Speed Concept, I've dropped it at the local Trek dealer before 9am this morning. I can see them flipping a coin for that job; but saves me lots of wasted nervous energy doing it myself. Took me ages to get to sleep last night Rolling Eyes

Two years ago I was in there getting a new seat post a week before Frankfurt, as the original started slipping! These things are sent to try us.

Jorgan - in case you don't see it on the outside assistance thread, there is a special needs run zone according to the race notes:
