So, the annual chore of treating the shed (my pain cave) and fences has begun.

Currently using Cuprinol Ducksback.

Is there anything that repels the water better and doesn't need done every year?

Cheers
Ross

I used Bedec Barn Paint this year to do the clapboard and windows on our summerhouse (our pain cave) following a recommendation from a local trade paint supplier. water based, goes on well, looks good, would recommend

It's old, the treatment appears to fade and discolour. The lower portions of the shed look like it's pretty much come off and feel damp at times.

My know it all neighbour was using some oil based stuff that costs 30 for 5 litres. I'd need 15 litres so quite some outlay.

Jeez - this is time consuming. I've done one fence panel. And it looks terrible.
