Scott website is drawing a blank, so assume they must be prepping it for the 2018 releases.

Wheelbase have some good deals currently

Cervelo R3 disc, cannondale synapse and supersix at some hefty discounts if your size is in.

Ask my local shop if they could price match and the said sorry but we'd make a loss!

Obviously depends what you want to spend but seem pretty good prices for what you get.

Enigma Ecroix, takes wider tyres but not exactly sure how wide, good for CX, disc brakes, full mudguards & panniers if you want.

I've even stuck on some tri-bars and done a couple of races on it.

Weighs a bit, but lets call it good training on the hills!

For some reason, Canyon had completely slipped my mind; but having parked next to a guy with an 'Endurace' at Perranporth, I have been spending a lot of time on their website now. Black seems to be the default with Canyon too, but fortunately a few other colours on offer, although not all colours across all models.

What do you think:

Nice that, most of their bikes seem to be very good value for money.

Have heard of delivery delays though.

I believe those are historical issues; now the availability tab shows what's available from stock now (10 working days) and what's on pre-order at a later date. Of course, their business model has had time to settle-in now too, and they are better able to predict supply/demand.

So, after deliberating for several weeks and missing-out on the bike above (sold out) and then the base SLX model (Hi Mod frame) which sold out too, I thought that was it. But I kept checking back on the site (which paid dividends) and the red Endurace SLX 8.0 came back in stock Cool. I pulled the trigger there & then, and after a call from the Barclaycard fraud line, the sale went though Very Happy Only placed the order Fri afternoon, and waiting for a delivery estimate now. Very excited.

Forgot to add a picture bringing the thread to its logical conclusion! Will need to cut the steerer at some point Smile It's a sublime bike, really love it. It arrived with a slightly warped front rotor, and the free replacement is due to be delivered today; can't fault the Canyon experience thus far.
