Who do Pedal Cover use as their provider? I wouldn't expect them to cover themselves, like Sainsburys for example they use Legal & General who I am with and I add a separate cost for my 2 race bikes, still costs me 35 inclusive a month with full contents & buildings, very good. Their clauses cover outside buildings and don't mention timber for example not covered etc like Pedal.

AA home insurance were very good with my recent claim.

I didn't specify any bikes I just got their standard building and contents policy. Last month I had my garage broken into and my road and mountain bike stolen. The policy states that there is a 3k limit on garage claims and a 1.5k single item limit. They ignored that part of the policy, valued the bikes at 4k and paid out in full, cash was in my bank account within 5 days of the bikes being stolen. They also paid out for a garage door replacement on top of the bike claim.

Excellent customer service throughout and a speedy resolution. I only chose them for insurance because they gave me the cheapest quote on gocompare, I didn't consider my bikes at all when I took out the policy.
