Post up your route and maybe some on here could meet up, or shout out on facebook; loads of cycling groups

Well mission accomplished.
186 miles averaging 18mph. Wind was mostly favourable on a pretty flat route. No muscle or fatigue issues and despite the heat think I took enough fluids on.
Feet were mashed, think from swelling from the heat so had loosen those right off. Few other aches and pains but considering 10+ hours in the saddle think managed ok.
Appreciate the advice, all helped 👍

Nope... none at all.
I did however have horrific toe pain. Left big toe and right little toe. The right one causing me to have multiple stops later on. Not sure if feet had swelled with the heat.
2nd biggest issue was a sore shoulder?!?!
Without the foot issues - could've happily carried on.

Ha
This is one of the few "social" rides I've done. The first 100 was effortless - advantages of being able to take on plenty of nutrition without issue (which I can't do anywhere near as well at effort).
And I hardly did any work on the way out.
12 hours in TT position... I can't even begin to imagine how much I'd want to throw the bike away at the end. This however, I was keen to get back out.
