No. My Aegis II is fine. The Archimedes I is fine.

My archimedes I is more glue than rubber, yet i have always been incredibly careful. Bags on feet and hands and all that gubbins.

Are Snugg suits that expensive? When I bought mine in 2012 I don't think the list price was any more than the top of the range Orca suits. I think I got a 20% "show discount" too because I ordered it at the TCR show at Sandown Park. That also had the added benefit that they measured me up so I didn't have the stress of taking my own measurements before ordering .

£550. That obviously includes a made-to-measure service though. Can't remember what I paid in 2008 (tax free).

I can't remember exactly how much I paid in 2012, but £350 rings a bell.
I guess wetsuits have got more expensive since then

I think my Slipstream was more than that tax-free in 2008, maybe 380. Which model did you get?
We have to pay for all the advancements in neoprene over the last 10 years

TBH After my initial problems the Aegis is still going strong
I kind of get the feeling after 5 years it's about to fail every swim but it just got me through a terribly tough sea swim and is still kicking. There is quite a bit of Black Witch holding it together but it has now done 4 IM's and many many OW swims and Tri's
If it goes I will be fine with it's overall usage just a shame it failed so early.

Also had an excellent experience with HUUB recently - at least from the customer service side of things. Archimedes II suit that was 18months old split on one of the seams as I was putting it on for the Outlaw half in Nottingham. Majorly irritating but handy excuse for my crap swim as I looked like a burst couch.
Suit was replaced for new with no quibble.
