Not doing this personally - but just a timely reminder to TT folks Smile Opens TODAY 15.00 BST.

Already at Tier 2 entry, a cool 545. It's a great race though, easy logistics once you get there, good for families and spectators and very scenic course (fast but definitely not flat!).

I am already booked on.
If you are a member of the Ironman Triclub program (which is free) you get a link and individual password. Got mine on the 4th.

Will be IM #35 (If I get round Barcelona in October)

Most hotels are now pretty much booked up...but keep looking on hotels.com / booking.com.

Travel wise there are a few options....

Fly into Vienna or Venice and train to Klagenfurt (or hire a car - 3 hours (ish) drive from either.
Fly into Ljubiana and hire a car (35-40 miles)
Fly into Graz and hire a car

I take it the Stansted-Klagenfurt flight no longer exists? (Ryanair). That's what I used the year I flew from the UK (have also driven previously from Bavaria).

I stayed here in 2013. Cheap & cheerful, but very convenient for the event site. They may even have Wi-Fi now! http://www.pension-wachau.at/

Nope - that route got pulled a few years ago. Pity.
