Using this thread to continue analysing the course and plans as Im doing it again in September.

So I dont know what a good target value is but TrainerRoad tells me I had a TSS of 205, and a ride time of 3:55 (+0:30 in mechanicals and stops). 2100 Calories.

Total elevation gain 1500m.

Average power 175W
Max power 527W

Average speed 23kph
Max speed 85kph

Average cadence 75rpm
Max cadence 127rpm

Max temp 28C (but other reports had it as 32C)

Im think reduce the TSS, increase speed...so the only answer is weight loss.

How much weight do you realistically think you can lose without impacting power output?

Looking at those power figures do you think there is a simple change that could reduce your overall bike leg training stress?

Late response, but I found that TSS dropped dramatically once I found sections that I worked hard on - sounds obvious said like that, but really not much change to my mind didnt lose significant time either.

Ive had all sorts of training interruptions and now sickness and antibiotics over the last grew weeks that has put paid to my revenge attitude, but if I can get healthy for the start line Im quietly confident I can finish.

It seems Ive actually been sick and fighting an active infection for several months without knowing it, which handily gives me an extra excuse for the DNF in June Smile

Antibiotics are now my fourth discipline... Laughing
