What were you hoping to split on the bike? Going form being 'one of the fastest' to 7:18 must have been a monumental meltdown, or did you underestimate the course
Forgive my question also but you only went 10 miles without your bag, and puked up. Are those rice cakes really any good?

Some good reports and results, not sure how you'd be disappointed with any sub-11 on that course. Still reading Alan's report.
It's odd how you'll get an odd age group in a race where the slots roll a long way or times aren't that great.
Going on tri247 the M50 A\G 3rd place (the Polish bloke) qualified with 11:28 which I think is fairly acheivable with some decent training, next year a load of M50's will turn up and you'll need 10:50 or something quick. Bolton seems to have this now and then.
