The boy has suddenly shown interest in treadmill running.

Iím not sure weíll go there but is there anything to be concerned about with 12yos and treadmills?

Cheers.

One year on - Iím still looking for ideas.

Thereís been no progress, my boy still does sports purely walking. The school PE teacher makes him walk around the field while the others play it seems. The pain is in both legs now. He limps around school. Still wears the inserts the physio gave him, but not sure of the point if the problem is still there.

They think his tendons are too short and he needs to stretch them with exercise.

We had good fun for a week in the summer surfing, and kayaking and some easy tennis. So heís still up for doing things but itís really depressing him that his legs...well heís basically handicapped and has been for years, but no one seems to recognise it.
