I've also bookmarked the German ZDF site for German live streaming; a good contingency and often different coverage. Doesn't seem to block my UK ISP on laptop; although I have a VPN on my phone for watching foreign content.

Men:

Rationale: Keinle and Sanders KO each other on the bike trying to catch onto Wurf (who is swims better and is already up the road?) and trying to gap the uber swim/runners who all drag each other round the bike and then produce something special on the run.

Women:
Rhyf
Charles
Daylight

Sounds like Charles is swimming well and motivated for the record, and surely stronger on the bike and run, however Rhyf seems also to be on another planet, so probably they get into T2 together, and Rhyf wins with a slightly quicker marathon.

I'll buy all of that. With a cpl of changes. Wurf is my strong wild card who I think could really upset the outcome if he has a good bike. Charles won't be with Rhyf at the end of the bike.

Tech people. Anyone know how I can pick it up late tonight//tmr from half way through the bike without encoutnering any spoilers on the way? I presume if I go to the FB coverage page it will have lots of headlines and posts about the result.

Looks cloudy and potentially some rain. Therefore would go for the runners as gusty winds do not look too bad on forecast and less sun beating down during the run.

Therefore similar to Phogg's predictions without, perhaps controversially Gomez !

Lange
Currie
Hanson

Ryf
Charles
Carfrae

Great race to watch and the TT Facebook feed was a giggle.

Dreitz just woke up with Lange spooning him and some flowers round his neck.

Interesting to see what happens next year.

Dreitz broke no rules - his run was solid so there was no obvious 'sacrificing' of his own race. Jan called it out on his 'guest' interview slot, but not sure what can be done.

He may go for 'if you can't beat him, join him' - he will find it easy to find allies next year.
