Anyone watching this on Ch4? At first I thought it was going to be pants, especially given the events (curling????) but now I can see it's weighted towards technique rather than just fitness.
I'd love to see Bobby Davro do a dive bomb....

Bobby Davro will win. He's actually an ultra-ironman.

I was swimming last night but got my wife to video it (excellent idea 'cos can fast forward thru the cr*p bits). Big respect to the floppy haired one though - good lift.

Looks like Bobby's not going down without a fight but, judging by his winning celebrations, he seems to be taking this a little too seriously!

what a poor wee life he must have to get so much joy from winning a curling competition by de-fault. Tonights the night though with vaulting(hee hee, their all going to fall on their nads) and judo, girls hugging ehh hee pulling hair etc, Mels going to wipe the floor! Anyone know what miss Worlds name actually is and why the programme is bloody awful in between the action (Jamie looks like he's coked up and the experts are over the top)

Her name's Azra Akin - don't know why they won't call her by her real name...seems strange to keep saying "and Miss World is catching up fast..."

I do take my hat off to them all the diving must have been pretty hair raising but also the vaulting -it's not easy, think of the injuries. Even the hurdles looked like high jumps to me They must have all been serious about the training, 2 months sounds a lot but they had to master 6 disciplines
I'd love to have a month or so off work and be trained to be proficient in different things ----suppose I'd better take off my rose coloured glasses and get myself proficient in swimming and cycling first
