Can anyone point me in the direction of decent watch. My sigma hrm died during the london triswim leg, so I'm desperate to find something for himuk.

I like the look of timex's and the nikes but will consider anything. ANy sales out there?

I'd something with around 50 lap memory. Obviously has to be v water resistant, light, alarms and hrm. Price range - up to 50 I guess.

Cheers Cool

I got mine from www.wiggle.co.uk this link should take you to HRM page

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/v2_product_list.asp?CategoryName=Heart%20Rate%20Monitors&Cat=

They change their offers quite regularly. I went for the TimeX IM 49 , It seems ok ( nothing to compare it to ) Also ebay seem to have a healthy trade in hrm's

I'm a big fan of Timex iron man Triathlon too. It has a good countdown timer ( not many do) which allows you to practise absolute killer intervals Very Happy . Despite two battery changes mine's still working well four years on, and I take it for a swim at least three times a week. The strap broke last year and Timex sent me a new strap without even asking for payment first. Very Happy No hrm though.
