I love this forum although don't post very often. Let me know if I can help.

I have a small platform that could be offered as a news partner on www.beyondgoinglong.co.uk or tag it onto my event maybe?

Basically I don't know how to do these things but happy to offer another option.

What's the latest on this Gareth? If this is what we have to play with on 14th May, TT will fall off a cliff edge.

Whatever happens and whatever the way forward is, I'd like to say what a pleasure it's been to be part of the TriTalk community. Meeting people, holidays at the races and the general optimism has helped me a great deal.

Thanks Gareth and thanks TriTalk. Smile

A little bit more insight into what happens at the end of the week would be helpful. Do we need to re-register? Are usernames etc porting over, so we just recover our existing usernames? etc?

Probably needs a huge sticky at the top of every subsection too, broadcasting in a high profile way what is happening. I hadnt checked this thread for a week or so, and had no idea about the pending deadline until I saw it referenced on another thread.

As others have said, I've gained a significant amount from this site, and continue to do so, so the proverbial cliff edge Jorgan talks about would be a real shame. That said, I'd probably do more work...

+1 from me as well.

From the lovely beautiful ladies at Bleinheim who saw my TT suit and cheered me on, to the wide range of advice on a vast range of subjects, it has been invaluable.

We all have different life's, in different parts of the world, but share that common inner drive to push ourselves to our limits, hopefully having fun in the process.

Stop it. You're making me cry. Wink

Seriously, this place is not going to die FFS. There's still enough of us who feel strongly enough to carry something on somewhere. How many online communities would give their eye-teeth for a core of dedicated people with passion to make something work, to chip in money, time, effort etc.?

I'm going to need a bit more time to migrate and test this. Don't worry I am not shutting anything down without a replacement fully ready to go! The plan is to archive the current version of the site and have a much better new version of the forums. I would like to migrate users at the very minimum.

Security must be a real improvement - another half dozen posts removed this morning at 0515 UK time and CAPTCH isnt cutting it - all new user sign ins and a whole new set of spam adverts - not passport adverts this time.
