Read this thread over on ST before someone gets wise and pulls it for legal reasons; Dimond suing Jordan Rapp.

Given the potential sensitivity of the subject matter I will not provide you with a direct link, as you'll understand.

Irrespective of the bike defects he's got some front - "I've got enough money to pay for it but I'd rather not dip into my savings. Will you lot pay for it for me"

A rather awkward moment when someone quotes him waxing-lyrical about his 3 Dimond bikes last year.

"Hey guys, great news. A few lucky winners can ride off on a bike I deem to be a death trap".

What a guy.

Did he mention he had a crash Rolling Eyes

Still seems a terribly bad reaction from Dimond if all is as he says.

Another good observation was that any competitor that wanted to sink Dimond could contribute anonymously to a crowd-fund page for the legal action. Although tbh, none of the big brands are threatened by Dimond, so they will just look-on with a bowl of popcorn.

Whatever happens, I feel it might mean the end of Dimond thanks to the reputational damage. It seems as though a lot of their sales came via Slowtwitch readers and they generally have a lot of respect for JR.

What's the best bike you've ever ridden? The one you're being paid to ride at the time Wink

Magazines rarely give terrible reviews if they think it will hit their advertising revenue and sponsored athletes will never bad mouth a product if they are being paid to use it. They'll always find a positive spin to put on any review and be quiet on the stuff that isn't so good.

An ill thought through venture if there ever was one, and posted as much.

To be fair it's doing remarkably well not to have mutated into a Lionel Sanders love in.....

If Dimond didn't have a valid lawsuit before I'm pretty sure they do now!

I can't work out from the original post whether he actually fed back his concerns with the bike to Dimond as he was going on or if he just kept going with something he wasn't happy with and only told them he thought the bikes were dangerous when he'd decided to go elsewhere
