Just noticed that I need to put a rear light on my tri bike to enter on Saturday - any easy bodges to get a regular rear light that straps on to a seat post onto an aero post? Dangle it from the saddle somehow?

You want something like a Bontrager Ember, with an extra rubber band to extend around the seatpost.

I'll be there too, can bring a spare for you if you're in dire need. I've got an Exposure TraceR which you can mount under the saddle, really good light and nice and aero too.

The Tonbridge one? Thanks for the offer - I'm heading over to Bromley bikes now to get the bike and see if Incan get a light on it.

I've driven that part of the A21 many times, got to say I'm not that comfortable with the idea of cycling it (I know we're early doors), plus it'll be my first real test on the road with my bike.

Just looking to survive rather than set a PB Wink Smile

I have this one permanently on my Propel now, used to use it on my Argon TT bike.

On blink it lasts like 5-6 hours. Sneaks in nicely behind the post, can't see it doing much to disturb air flow.

I'm an idiot - it easily fits on.

This thread is now akin to a broken pencil...

I extended it using a Garmin strap. You know, the stuff they ship with for attaching to the stem. Works a treat. Smile
