Ok, so there's nothing tri about this but I'll pretend it's high protein low carb or something.

What's your BBQ Speciality?

I usually do a brisket with paprika, salt, sugar and pepper (sometimes Coca-Cola) but thought I'd have a go at American style beans:

Onions, garlic, peppers fried in cumin and vegetable stock
Simmered with baked beans, kidney beans, sweet corn and tinned chopped tomatoes.

It tasted just like a bunch of beans and sweet corn. Waste of time. Don't bother.

My specialty is buying all the disposable BBQs and bags of charcoal in Oct/Nov when they are 90% discount so I have plenty for the next year.

I tend not to buy those disposable bbq's as they seem to infuse any food cooked on them with an interesting flambee of chemicals Shocked

And I'm with Sloggers - I love everything very crispy.

Turn a chicken upside down and shove an open beer can up its ass, followed by 2kg of thick snags, more beer, couple of pieces dead cow (getting hot work, have a beer), 2kgs of prawns with some beer and some rolls, butter and maybe some tomato sauce if you want get all fancy.

Pav for desert (with beer). Very Happy

Yeah we believe you Wink

Anyway, I dont do BBQ's any more as I cant eat that much meat and I prefer to taste food, not smell charred scrag end.

butterflied leg of lamb marinated for a few hours (or overnight) in rosemary, olive oil and as much garlic as your body can take.

Warn the neighbours, 15 minutes each side & you get meat to suit every taste from cremated to bleating
