Do they have a bug going around? I know Demare was having trouble sleeping or something.

Been a brutal weekend, impressed Kittel made it through ydays stage but he does tend to suffer hauling himself over the mountains, and it was all very steep so even worse for him! So hopefully it should open out the sprints later in the race as - think Greipel will come into his own.

Interesting point was made about Matthews yday - he manged to make the break, help pace Barguil and make enough climbs to get to the sprint, all for 20 points, whereas Kittel effectively bagged 20 points extra for being 0.0006mm in front of EBH (or whatever it was)!

Obviously there's already a jersey for being good in the mountains, but fair play to Matthews, wonder how many other intermediates he can grab that will be out of Kittel's reach, he's surely going to need a few! It's certainly an interesting sub-plot on this year's race.

I've lost Porte but fortunately have Barguil. Shame he didn't win the stage on Sunday but loved (Uran) Uran's win. By sheer luck I'm at the top at the moment. It won't last.

Wow attrition in the sprinting corps continues - Kittel out after today's crash.

Shame, as the green jersey fight was adding an interesting story arc to this year's race. Maybe Greipel will be able to continue his grand tour winning streak after all ...
