I think this is probably the fastest bike course I've done, and that includes Roth & Austria. Weather just wasn't co-operative that year Not one I'd probably do again though. In fact Austria is the only one I've returned to so far.

After 5 or is it 6 times round IM Frankfurt now I have decided to make my comeback at Austria for next year. Fast course, but given previous years will likely be a non wetsuit swim and like riding / running in a sauna with hairdryer in front of your face. Enjoy...

In for number 6... 4th in Franfurt
hoping to finally beat my debut IM time of 11:18, which involved four months prep and a cheap aluminium bike.
That was 2007.
Since then lots of money on a Cervelo, Zipp wheels, coaches and I've never been near 11:18.
After a long layoff, 2017 has finally given me hope with a 1:29 HM and a 5:18 HIM with 3000ft climbing on the bike.
Fingers crossed already, 11:17, please, 11:17.

Hi, I'm registered for IM Frankfurt 2018.
I seem to vaguely recall in the registration process that a medical certificate was required at registration to confirm that you were fit to race, is that right?! I can't find any mention of it on the website now though, maybe I'm just getting this confused with the day-license thing that you just have to fork over a load of cash for?! Could (or should) I use a BTF license for that part? I'm not currently a member but considering the german day-license is seemingly ~€25(!) it might be worthwhile signing up.
Either way, I'm sorting out a doctors note for the Paris Marathon this week, so if I do need one for Frankfurt I was thinking I may as well do them at the same time. Thanks!
