Hi
Just looking at the Dolan Scala TT, Ultegra R8000 with Cosmic Pro carbon wheels or the Eddy Merckx Laguno 68 TT, 105, standard wheels. Anybody got any experience of either? Thanks

Both have similar geometries but does it suit you?

If you are going to spend 2K on a bike its worth spending 200 on a fit.

Sod the fit - if its the wrong geometry Dr Bob can hack a bit of your torso length / arms / legs to make you fit the bike....

On a serious note - get a bike fit..

Dolan is an open mold. Eddy Merckx probably the same as it looks just like the Evo2Max which is just a Dengfu TT01. Dolan customer service is 2nd to none. They are very good and I've got a track bike from them and also had one before so would generally opt to go with them. If you're up north then they'll fit you in store.

For < 2k you can get a P2 with 105 also. That's the same frame as a P3 but with different forks which it appears may be more aerodynamic according to some reports Wink
