Whilst I wouldn't want the roads littered with Canyons, you really should check them out vs the competition, certainly price/spec wise.
The Endurace CF SL disc models come in at £2349 or £1799 for Ultegra/105. You don't get the HM frame or the monocoque bars etc, but you're probably not bothered about the one-piece bar/stem anyway? I got the 2017 CF SLX 8.0 in the end-of-season sale; it's awesome.

Apart from an aversion to propping up Markel's regime any more than it needs, the last time I checked the Endurance availability it was going to be Xmas.
I pretty much know it will be between the C3 and Synapse.

Then surely you should be buying a handbuilt british bike, not a north american bike built in Asia

Steady, no need for extremes
I did look at Enigma but the brief for this bike is part time and the cost of an Enigma frame alone doesn't stack up.
Two of my mates in Winchester and one in Somt ride Canyons, they do seem to like them. I will double check availabity but I'm pretty sure it was a blow out out when I checked.

Yes, I see the Ultegra Endurace CF SL isn't available until Jan 18, but the 105 version is in stock, assuming you like the colours. Personally I wanted either red or silver, so choice was limited...to the more expensive SLX

Yeah I noticed that last night. Finished our surf session for the morning, so some serious java and research on the balcony is in order. Tough life for us this week
