Just entered the Bishopbriggs Sprint Triathlon on 6/5/18.

This is 3 months before my 70.3 and will be my first ever tri. Thought it would be a good idea to enter a shorter race first to get a bit of experience of it all.

Laughing I never thought I'd see the 'Briggs get a mention on here! My in-laws live a stones throw from the leisure centre, so I know the area well. I've run around there many a time, out to 'Kirky' & back on the canal towpath is a favourite. Unfortunately some super runner took my Strava CR from Kirky to the Briggs last year; I might still be second though. I also took my bike up last Xmas and rode over the fells to Fintry Cool

Good luck for the Triathlon; I've never been around at the right time to have a go.

You know it better than me then and I only live on the other side of Glasgow.

Looking forward to it!
