At least we've been spared Froome wheezing as he went to accept a SPOTY award....

I suspect in an odd way Froome's indiscretion helped Mo as it transferred a number of endurance votes from cycling to running. Although I'm amazed from the full voting figures that Froome's vote did not collapse completely.

Hammerer has multiple phones and I am sure accounts for several of the votes... Smile

That said, i actually have no idea how the vote system works...is it on-line yet and open to Russian influence?

I don't think so but Maria Sharapova came 2nd

without playing for half the year? not bad....

You know you are going to be tested, you know what the limit is etc. It would be totally bonkers to purposefully go over the limit in that situation and Froome doesn't come across as totally thick.

Rumours and denials that he's currently negotiating a 6 to 9 month ban.

Surely this means Brailsford has to sack him? Zero tolerance.

Time for Wout and G to step up?

I don't see Sky taking any Grand Tours this year.

I'm sure they'll find some angle that makes it 'acceptable' to retain him; particularly as DB is the master architect of all the line blurring Sky does and he must bear some responsibility.

The Sky programme or the blurred lines programme?

Now they are owned by Disney, not sure pro cycling as a whole has the whiter than white image they like to project.

That reasoning is true for all in competition testing and still dopers get away with it but a few get caught. That argument just doesn't stack up for me, particularly as he had a sh1t load of salbutamol metabolites in his urine.

The current contract with Sky was due to run until 2020 and that also coincides with Froome, Stannard and Rowe's contracts. Not sure about the other riders.

New sponsor in 2020 or do they disappear completely? Surely not?
