Hi All,

I really need some help with the BKool simulator software. Since mid December when I open the simulator all I get is a black screen with the Bkool music playing in the back ground.

I don't know what I've done - the BKool people just keep telling me the software is minimised, but it's not.

I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling / updating drivers - i even tried switching off my PC and rebooting it (I'm that desperate!). This software also controls my smart turbotrainer and I need to get into the simulator to change the settings if I want to use a different program so I'm really stuffed.

Any suggestions?

hi, I've been using bkool and the only problem I had was a dodgy usb extension cable so the ant+ sensor wasn't working. I just went on and there's an update to the bkool desktop app which I did and it is working fine (mine was working fine before as well). I'm on Windows 10 and not sure which older windows versions it will work on, could this be your problem ?

Hi JD,

Thanks for responding. I'm using Windows 8 and the latest Bkool version. Bkool have looked at a Dxdiag file and said everything is OK. Nothing is loose I just can't get video. I'm just so frustrated because all i seem to be getting is "try reinstalling the software" or "maximise the tab".
I'm no computer expert, but it looks like it's not initialising properly, but i don't know why not. Coincidentally i had a big Windows update around the time it all went wrong....
