Bit of a blip. Had some cravings and stuffed my face, 0.8Kg back on - some water I hope.

Do we need to administer a blanket party?

Still locked in the endgame of this illness, currently not getting better or worse.

Any training above Z2 leads to coughing a lung up; general lethargy/tiredness.

Made a decision to eat more; stuff the weight for a week or two.

In the hierarchy Getting well > Training > Weight loss.

Plenty of time to get back on it when feeling near 100%

^^^ yes, I think doing lots of Z2 is preferable to what I did when I'd just got rid of a cold, and did a Z4 run where I dipped into Z5 and ended-up with a really sore throat and night sweats by the end of the week Rolling Eyes

83.7kg so maybe January’s last weight in wasn’t a fluke. Smile

I braved the scales today, 75kg dead on so things have come to a standstill by the look of it.

Need to finish off the Christmas cake and stop drinking chocolate milk. But still got time to go.

71.7kg. Put on 0.7 in the last few weeks. A few hotel nights away with work plus my 50th celebrations so not overly concerned.

Right back on it next week.

Fluttering around 71.5... 71.8kg.
On a recovery week I'll take that.

Not a minute of exercise all week due to Flu bug and barely got out of bed at all for 3 days.
On the plus side I didn't eat much either so lost a bit of weight, down to 101.1kg.
This week will be a tester as still don't feel well enough to exercise much but more than well enough to stuff my face!

Just what I've been through JaRok.

That second week you also feel really flat/lethargic, back at work but not training so the lure of sugary stuff is very strong, anything to make you feel like you have some zip to get through the day. It doesn't work though, whatever I ate I still felt #@?#, so I wish I hadn't!

68.9 last night so still going down slowly, now I'm not sure that I should let it fall too much further at this time of year

So despite previously saying my daily variation is many kg's, my last 4 days I've been 72.1 exactly every day.

Interestingly, despite purely just going out and running, or riding, I've not done a single second of zone 5 running all year, previously I've had months where I've done loads of it, and I'm even at the lowest amount of Z4, I'm just doing everything extremely easily.

Not been ill at all though, even with rest of family laid down.

Not looking forward to the scales this wee.

I appear to have a cold and am eating for Britain while doing no exercise
