Conservative voting councils are the ones with the most pensioners, and the biggest increasing need for social care spending. Interesting times ahead.

hadn't considered that...interesting point...wouldn't they also have more pensioners who wouldn't need funded care?

Not really, we 're still paying off the debt mountain you lot ran up under Labour while you still object to actually balancing the books.

Actually I think you'll find Blair & Brown's 'open door' policy rather exacerbated the problem.

This country has too many net-takers and the net-contributors are getting taxed to oblivion to pay for them.
