Some european races that have 7k vert are claiming to be the "world's hardest" and "normal" X is "only" 5k vert. So Mark came up with this one. I'd say this is a pretty definitive answer there.

It has the same cut-offs as the normal X which is going to be the real bugger.

I was thinking perhaps we need EverestMan- 8848m of vertical gain over a tri?
