What IS with the front mudguard thing? Odd.

Aero init. Wheels create turbulence.

Adrian Newey once said if there were no rules in Formula1 the first thing they would do is cover the wheels.

Yep, we'd all be riding fully enclosed recumbent bikes.

How would it cope with hitting a pothole at speed? Will the wheel hit the fairing?

Carbon has very little flex at all so I imagine if you hit it hard enough to move it would probably crack anyway.

These bikes are like the BMWs / Mercedes of recent times. A race to make the fugliest thing they can. Each one out doing the next

That's not going to make for a very comfortable ride Shocked . Most frames and forks have a bit of vertical compliance built into them for rider comfort.

I'd be interested to see more views of that horizontal fork. I guess it's probably similar on both sides, so you drop it onto the wheel from above and have a through axle through both sides.

well it looks like it's no longer a concept and is all systems go

no mention of price yet, or whether ITU compliant (as it's of an "unusual" design i.e. a beam bike, Ceepo will need to submit lots of tech data if they want approval)
