Doubt it will do much to improve their broadcasts, but there's a lot of races now available to watch. I didn't actually catch any of the IM France feed yesterday, so don't know how good/bad it was.

TBH, other than Kona, personally i actually prefer to just scan the live text updates every 30 mins or so when i'm out and about.

Guess it's a sign of the times though!

I caught the last 3k of the womans race and thought the coverage was pretty good. They had a bike camera on Corinne Abraham the whole time(sometimes seemed a little too close)

Saw that and also did not check it out. IM Frankfurt looks a stellar field though so might try and catch some of it.

Trouble is the timing: catching Kona works as it starts around 5:30pm UK time on a Saturday, so doesn't occupy the whole day. Too much going on to watch 8 hours starting Sunday morning....unless I fancy a nice long turbo.... Rolling Eyes

Kona is pretty much the only live triathlon I watch; as posted above, everything else is on during the day and there are so many other things to be doing, like kids parties Smile I'll probably watch the World Cup* if England get through to the knock-out stages, but aside from that, I simply don't watch sport, I just does it... init.

* and probably miss any goals as I'm looking at something more interesting online Laughing

IM FRANCE
was really good.
Clear pics and running informed relevant commentary.

I was amazed at how often some of the pros stood up on the bike...?!

I watch World SuperBike and British SuperBike, Spring Classic Cycling and a shed load of surfing. That's it.

Some years, I'll watch some of Kona build up and the swim start but as far as tri goes, ITU is infinitely more exciting than IM.
