Ha, I also signed up to this yesterday out of curiosity, it must be the most miserable bunch of people ever.

Will probably be removing myself today or hiding it.

I particularly liked the one who wanted to get in touch with major of Bolton (or MP) to get his 17 miles back

I'll be leaving the group again by the weekend; but in the meantime, I'll add the odd comment - particularly aimed at those blowhards who say to boycott IM, then just keep signing up............ baaaaaaaah

I had to hide it. It was taking over my newsfeed and i got weirdly addicted to just reading the drivel. Ended up way past my bedtime chuckling to myself.

I couldn't bring myself to comment.

A bunch are now posting that they will leave the course and add in the extra 17 miles regardless of a DQ....ffs

Posting on SM that you're going to take pre-planned action to break the rules of the race is just dumb

No-one else will care about the Ironman on Sunday anyway, because Football is coming home.

I've heard they're cutting the run to around 14k to enable everyone to finish in time for said footy

For someone who thinks following Chavball is for unimaginative and/or inactive people, I find myself hearing that tune in my head a lot his week!

Mr and Mrs Slacko follow the soccer ball.
They are neither inactive, unimaginative.

Though, I do concede, they do appear to break the mould of your typical soccer ball follower.

If it involves hands on face, reading through your fingers, then yes.

I have only re-joined to watch the frenzied meltdown, and will have checked-out again by early next week Very Happy Otherwise your FB feed will be full of inane twoddle.

I couldn't hack it any longer. My FB feed was full of whinges and moans. I'm sticking the Pathetics Triathlon FB group as it's a lot funnier and not as full of self centred whiny #@?#.
