I'm surprised how small the 735XT is, feels a bit weird to have such a functional watch not look like a brick on my arm. Didn't think the barometric altimeter was worth the extra on the 935XT - especially as it went t1ts up on my 920.
It's pretty staggeringly small isn't it, and incredibly light, it's almost Toy-like.
Amazing it does everything it does and has a semi-decent battery in there too. I can't imagine it's too rugged but has lasted well enough this season.
Yes, the strap does feel a bit flimsy, certainly compared to the 920. But then I got through 3 straps on that!
I don't keep the wrist HRM on, so that saves battery. I use a chest strap when I'm training/racing and the battery should last a long time if you do that and disable the optical HRM e.g. for an Ironman or Audax.
