Yes, once. Strathpuffer once too. Much prefer epic single loop courses to round-and-round in a muddy loop.

I'm also interested in some MTB endurance events, anyone with any info on potential events, doesn't have to be UK
Cheers

I'll be training through winter this year, already got my eyes on my main event for next year in May.
So if anyone is up for some kind of team event or something let me know. Not sure if I can do it with family etc but it'd be good fun to go blast something with people a bit fitter than my usual MTB crew.
I'm reasonably ok on MTB. I can hold my own on a red trail riding on sight, and can do perhaps 50% of blacks on sight as well. I'm no downhill expert though so when it really gets technical I need to inspect before I drop in. But then again, we're probably talking XC or Endurance something here.
I'm also not the top-end fittest around here but used to doing long stints (~20 hour extreme IMs). I'd probably do quite ok in a 24 hour relay or a 100k team ride or something.
Not big on the CX side of things btw. I've got a nice XC bike so that'd be the choice of weapon.

The site at Marston Trussel is local to me, and there was a 10k trail race there last month. Should be a good course, and should stay rideable. Don't forsee a muddy loop.
