According to my weekly report from Withings

W/C 7 Jan -0.3kg
W/C 14 Jan -0.4kg
W/C 21 Jan -1.1kg

I was hoping to drop 1kg per week, but so far doing 0.6kg, so not too bad

Immediately after a hard Zwift ride, my weight yesterday was 75.9kg, nice to see 75.x on the scale again, but reality is around 76.5kg

at my current rate, I hope to get down to my target by end of April, nicely in time for IM 70.3 Austria in May

Crikey that's good work.

72.7 kg to start the year.

Latest was 71.3kg.

Slow, steady - oddly even that small loss has made a difference, feel leaner.

Next stop 70:xxkg

Started the year at 74 KGs! After my 50th Birthday celebrations and THREE puddings on NYE.

71.7kg this morning.

Run benefits as soon as i hit 70kg which is the target.

Bike power static so all good.

Really big drive this past week, down to 73.7kg for my January closing weight, 5kg dropped since new year, 4.7kg still to go, so more than half way there

I'm stuttering. Got to mid/low-72's mid Jan, after the Christmas and NYE excess, and have then been pretty much stuck there, +/- a bit of fluctuation.

To be fair, I'm not focussed too much on weight loss right now. I'm ramping up the running, and I'd rather be appropriately fuelled for those demands than being in a nutritional deficit whilst stressing the body with training...

Just done on fasted 22km run, the first 15km were really nice, it was as if someone then flicked a switch and the last 7 were really, really tough

I did it as a bit of an experiment, My last meal was a light supper, I then went swimming from 8pm to 9pm and I have only eaten fruit today.

I do a fair few fasted half maras in the winter period when doing very low intensity (i.e. 3 min mile slower than race pace) and sometimes find it tough in the last 5km. It makes you strong on the run in a half iron or iron though. I will always refuel with protein / carbs immediately after.

My weight is 6kg (79kg) higher than my normal race weight at the moment. It does not really matter though as I feel real strong doing hilly intervals on the run after doing a lot of weight training since December. Therefore questioning whether weight, within reason, is a real factor over Oly and Half-Iron?

Start of Feb and Iím down to 73.5kg. Think itís been more to do with an increase in running mileage than anything else.

72.7 kg to start the year, now a pleasing 70.7kg.

Especially good as I've been injured for 4 weeks after a bike crash so only had Z1-2 cycling and swimming to burn off the demon calories.

101.1kg from 101.8 last week and 105.1 at start of year.

Training is ticking along OK and diet during the week not too bad but slipping a bit at the weekends hence that 100kg barrier is still defeating me.

I'm usually under on MyFitnessPal but think that can be a bit generous on the exercise and activity calories at times.

80.5kg a month ago and 84kg this morning. Crisps and chocolate are going. Target sub 80 by end of Feb with target of sub 76 end of April. That takes me to my lightest in a long time and hopefully I can keep it there through the summer to Barcelona.

Bit of graft (self discipline really) required for the above to be true. 83kg so 1kg per week for my goal...
