Dan

I have a friend who is looking for someone to join a team for the supersprint at London (400m swim, 10k bike and 2.5 k run). Send me a message if you are interested and I will give you the details.

Trevor

If you do your first in early August you'll regret it as there is so little of the season left. Have a trawl through the internet to find some sprints at least.

I made this mistake so speak from experience

Hi everyone!

HIMUK will be my first "destination" race, as I venture forth from the heat and flat roads of Florida. I found this board courtesy of AndyS who saw a "Anyone doing HIMUK? What am I getting myself into?" post on another board.

I am very excited about doing this race, though I am a little worried about the hills. Around here, the toughest hills I face are the occasional bridges...

HIMUK will be my 3rd 1/2 IM, plus I did IMFL last year. I saw some posts on this board about IMFL and I can confirm that the bike course is pretty flat, but no IM is easy. Actually, I just did a 1/2 IM on the same course as IMFL and I'm more sore from the half than I was from the full, so who knows...full race report at

http://www.trinewbies.com/phorum2/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=25389&posts=24

I have flights and a hotel booked, and am currently considering my bike shippment options, either bringing it on the plane or shipping it to triuk.

Looking forward to chatting with the UK gang about the race and meeting some new friends at Dorset.

Later.

Hi Steve, glad to have you on board. I'll be getting along to Sherborne in the next few weeks to ride the course so I'll let everyone know how it goes. If you check the Training section we're already had one road test from ads.

Hi all,

I've just registered at TT.

I am a 24 yr old triathlete living in Somerset. I was at Stratford on the weekend (like many of you it seems) and had a reasonable race but was a bit off form with a stomach bug...

I am in the Tri UK race team (like Giantman!) and went to the World Championships in Queenstown, NZ in 2003.
