If you keep making jokes like that you'll get yourselves into a real pickle.

Bought some Carnac TRS8 tri specific bike shoes and Shimano Ultegra spd-sl peddles about 3 weeks ago. Love em both. A big improvement on my old Shimano peddles and Scott shoes.

You can cast an eye over the profile quickstops on the profile web site or at wiggle.com. But if you can wait, I should have them on display at Monday's race! Not that I'll be using them on that dead flat course - unless I hit a red traffic light of course!

Got an Orca P Flex. Amazed to see how much energy I had been lost by simple stuff as the shoulders being tight when reaching whilst swimming with my old suit. May not go faster, but I will save energy Shocked

Got a new aquasphere / seal open water mask. My other one has lasted a long time and I do think these are worthwhile - espec as they aid sighting in long swims.

Bought a pair of luck road shoes and a pair of look pp247 pedals.

Found out why my old shoes broke, the right pedal is too tight even on the lowest estting and it is not allowing the cleat out when I want to get off (thank god I found this out on the turbo!!!) almost broke the new shoes but realised what was going on and pulled the pedal apart instead so thats why I had to buy new pedals.

Blimey Sue - Happy early birthday. Must admit, I'm getting more and more tempted by the Timex bodylink.

Orca race tri-suit. It's got pockets in the bag for your fags and everything - must remember to wait until after the swim leg though...

Anyone have the nerve to train in their tri-suits? Mine's going on under a different top for now..

I was going to wear my tri suit out for a run the other night but the Mrs insisted I put a T shirt and jogging bottoms on over the top. I wear the tri suit under my wet suit for swimming and I'll definately wear it to the pool before my next pool tri to give it a test run. I'll wear it on the bike too, want to tan the top of my arms Cool
