Them's the old days Ted. I'm hoping times have changed!

My 4 hour hilly 70 mile training ride suddenly seems quite do-able!

I've had 2 and my knowledge of motorway hard shoulders became very comprehensive
But, yes I'm sure Ducatti are no longer using 3 year olds to wire the electrics

Not as badly as me...

Although that frame now has had a crack detected. About to strip it down again, ship it off for repair, rebuild, yadayadayaaa.

Looking to try a XC race or off-road duathlon or something. Muddy winter fun.

The electrics have improved but my alarm used to kill my battery which is much the same thing.....

How have you found in PCP? I'm thinking about getting a light waterproof for my longer winter trail stuff.

Very nice. I've always found the various Aksiums to be great training wheels too; robust, cheap, decent looking and heavy for added workout! Some don't seem to rate them though.

Although the Inov8 will be a great jacket I couldn't justify spending 100 on one. I picked up one of these from Rutland Cycles for 30.

The wheels certainly seem to add some weight and hopefully they will be robust although I've some problems with (cheap) Mavic's in the past. A puncture on the first ride wasn't welcome and it has gone back down, looked to be one the rim but I couldn't see anything sharp so going to have another look.
