I saw Alistair won Abu Dhabi on Saturday, ran 35 min 10K, blew away the LC guys on a 100k bike and has now pulled out of NZ injured. Anyone know whats going on?

A 35 sec 10k is bound to take some recovering from Wink

I'll be on crutches and in a boot for three weeks and then probably looking at four to six weeks rehab after, she said. If anything it'll mean I'll have to train specifically for the Commonwealth Games instead of focussing on the World Series.

I guess that effectively rules out Non defending her world title. I think it is five to count. She will have to choose 5 out of the remaining six and fit in the CWG. SOme events within a week of each other and in different continents.

No, not at all. She's got another seven events to chose from, of which her best four plus Edmonton will decide her final score.
